After flipping through the phone book in search of new business ventures, Ivan Turner and his future wife, Lisa, stumbled upon a service neither one of them knew there was a demand for; house cleaning.
The two started their house cleaning business, which transformed into something much larger in the following years.
It wasn’t until the Great Flood of 1993, that Turner realized the need for what would become his next business venture. The Great Flood of 1993 inundated at least 75 towns with water destroyed levees, farmland and killed 47 people.
AeroDry Disaster Restoration was established to provide the Jefferson City community with a service that was lacking in their community.
Turner has maintained the belief that “people come first before money,” which has been his mantra while leading his business. AeroDry Disaster Restoration helps restore commercial and residential properties with water, fire or mold damage.
For nearly 20 years Turner has seen how traumatic losing a home can be for families, which is why he believes he is not only in the business of restoring homes but he is also in the business of restoring lives.
